Yale University is a private institution, founded in 1701, located in New Haven, Conn, and a member of the Ivy League. Yale is well known for its secret societies. The most famous one is the Skull and Bone Society.
Three presidents are alumni of Yale: John F. Kennedy (transferred to Harvard), James Madison, and Woodrow Wilson. Gerald Ford and Bill Clinton are alumni of the Yale Law School.
